Becoming Perfect

The work of becoming perfect

is more perfect

than being perfect.

God is perfection

that is always

in need of

further perfecting

Meet Dr. Marc Gafni

Dr. Marc Gafni is a well-respected author, social activist, and visionary philosopher. His life and vast body of experiences has led him to instruct thousands of others on a variety of concepts, notably the attainment of personal wisdom and a revamping of the meaning of success in the modern world. He holds his doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University, and received rabbinic certification from the chief rabbinate in Israel, as well private rabbinic ordination. He teaches on the cutting edge of philosophy in the West, helping to evolve a new 'dharma,' or meta-theory of Integral meaning that is helping to re-shape key pivoting points in consciousness and culture. As co-initiator in 2014 of the Success 3.0 Summit with John Mackey of Whole Foods Market and entrepreneur Kate Maloney, Gafni is known for his visionary work on evolving a post-dogmatic shared language of meaning and success, rooted in the entrepreneurial values of Wake Up, Grow Up, Show Up and Outrageous Love. The Success 3.0 Summit's method and movement is to bring together key thought leaders and change-agents to collaboratively evolve a bold new Integral vision of Success. The event hosted key business and thought leaders including, Tony Hsieh (CEO, Zappos Inc), Arianna Huffington (Editor in Chief, Huffington Post), Alanis Morissette (Singer/Songwriter & Activist), Blake Mycoskie (Founder, TOMS Shoes), Barbara Marx Hubbard (Author, Social Innovator, Evolutionary Thought Leader), Michael Franti (Lead Vocalist of Spearhead & Activist), Casey Sheahan (former CEO, Patagonia), Lynne Twist (Global Activist & Author), Adam Bellow (Vice President, Harper Collins), Ben Jealous (former President & CEO of the NAACP), DJ Spooky (Composer, Musician & National Geographic Emerging Explorer), Tom Chi (Innovator & Founder, Google Glass), Jack Canfield (Author, Chicken Soup for the Soul), and many others.

Marc has co-founded a number of prominent schools and institutions, in particular the Center for Integral Wisdom. The purpose of the Center is to articulate, evolve and deliver a new, Integral narrative for living – which transforms each individual, culture and life itself – creating a world of Outrageous Love, through Outrageous Love.

In addition to his work with the think tank and his teaching engagements, Marc is a prolific writer. He was guest editor for the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice, a publication devoted to the application of Integral theory, on issues of Integral spirituality, and a faculty member of JFK University. He also has several best-selling titles to his credit, and uses his books to reach a global audience consisting of scholars, mystics, conscious entrepreneurs, or mainstream public – whether they may not be able to attend one of his many conference appearances or workshops or not.

Marc’s bestseller Soul Prints: Your Path to Fulfillment uses spiritual stories in an effort to teach readers how to live happier lives, adding wisdom to daily experiences and helping to identify what makes us unique in this world. The book received much critical acclaim for the valuable advice and guidance Marc conveys in the text. Another popular title is his Unique Self: The Radical Path to Personal Enlightenment. In this book, Marc blends Eastern and Western wisdom of enlightenment in startling ways, going beyond the ego self of Western psychology as well as the True Self realization of being ONLY part of a greater being. Readers raved about this book, calling it “an embrace of such depth and simplicity that it blew me away” and “heartful, lyrical, readable, and incredibly intelligent”.

Other of his books include Loving Your Way to Enlightenment, where he talks about love as the major core of the enlightenment traditions as well as many other aspects of everyday life, and The Mystery of Love, the followup to the bestselling Soul Prints. In this book, Marc teaches readers how to embrace the Eros of love and to live with passion and purpose in all areas of life. Again, he blends ancient Hebrew and Kabbalist traditions with modern thought processes, opening the door for people to experience life, love, and happiness to the fullest extent. Dr. Marc Gafni’s incredible vision and his expert way of breaking down complex theories about love, the self, and Integral Wisdom makes his books and his speaking engagements tremendously popular with people across the globe.
